Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to me - really.
(I wish your privacy was important to our government too.)

  • I do not collect information about anyone visiting this site for any reason.
  • The service I use collects non-personalized raw data on site traffic for my review.  I don't knowingly share even that.
  • The only way for me to know anything about you is for you to contact me by e-mail or telephone.
  • I believe it should be unlawful for copyright holders to require all those who receive downloads (reproductions) or streams (public performances) of their works to disclose their identities to them.
  • I have successfully litigated against the unlawful acquisition of video rental information, and would be happy to do so again or consult on the Video Privacy Protection Act or "VPPA".
  • I would like to see the VPPA strengthened and extended to all commercial transactions involving expressive materials.

Shouldn't our choices of reading, viewing or listening materials be payable in cash, without having to give up our identities as well?
